Oh yeahhh scale’s going back down what what what HOLLA!
Weigh-In Monday (post-Spring break edition)
Current Weight: 189.5
Not good. But I wanted to post it on here to hold myself accountable. I weighed myself two Saturdays ago, right as my break started, and I was at like 186. Expected, considering I’ve basically just been teetering around 185 since November. I didn’t exercise every day over break because I was staying out late, trying to see as many people as I could while I was home. I went running once with my mom, but the rest of break was spent running around. It was a really quick and busy break, I really didn’t relax at all. The only time I got some downtime was nights, which I spent transferring all my files from my old macbook to my new macbook pro I got (and needed badly, considering the keyboard was broken on my old macbook and I was using a wireless keyboard and mouse and it would still overheat and turn off).
But that’s in the past. I can’t fix the lack of exercise or overeating over break, all I can do is move forward and kick my butt into gear. You know why? BECAUSE SUMMER IS ONLY 2 MONTHS AWAY. And so is the 12k I’m doing with my mom. Actually, it’s exactly 2 months and 1 day away. THAT’S JUST UNDER 7 AND A HALF MILES THAT I WILL BE RUNNING IN 2 MONTHS. And the most I’ve done is 5 miles, and I didn’t run the entire time. So I need to get back into training, especially since I want to do a half marathon in October.
I went to the gym this morning before class! I’ve decided for the next few weeks to eat 1500 calories, track it on myfitnesspal, but don’t count the exercise I do and see how that goes for my weight loss. That’s pretty much what I was doing when I lost the first 50, but I was tracking weight watchers points. So I’m going to do 1500 calories every day and the gym M-F and a run Sat or Sun. If I go on a long run I may bump up to 1600 or 1700, just so I feel my net calories is closer to 1200. So we’ll see how that goes! Here’s to progress! I promise, even though it looks like I’m giving up and gaining back my weight, I’m not. It’s extremely hard to lose weight rapidly while in college and dealing with stress, lots of exams and papers, minimal sleep, and going out to bars. I definitely need to cut back my drinking, because that’s a lot of empty calories. But I know I’ll get back to losing again. I will see the 170s soon enough! And I WILL be 155 before my last year of undergrad starts. That’s 30 pounds in 5 months. Bring it on.
Weigh-In Monday on a Friday
Starting weight: 235.4
Previous weight (from December): 183.4
Current weight: 185.5

I was hoping to see a number closer to 183, or maybe even a number I’ve never seen before, because 183.4 is the lowest I’ve been to date. I didn’t exercise enough this week. I’ve been extremely busy with school since next week is my last week before Spring Break, so all the teachers are piling everything on now at the same time. So late nights doing homework leave little time for sleep, and I don’t want to injure myself going to the gym off 4 or 5 hours of sleep. I just need to try and schedule my time better this week because going to the gym really helps me feel less stressed.
What I’m thinking (and hoping) will happen is that I will reach the 170s while I’m home for Spring Break. Without school I’ll have more time to exercise and not have to worry about projects and papers and whatnot. But I made it a goal to weigh in every Friday, so I’m doing it, even if the scale still won’t budge!
Weigh-In Monday
Haven’t weighed in for awhile, sorry about that! Between Thanksgiving and finals and everything going on, I knew my weight was going to fluctuate. So I’m posting this weight to track my progress over this month of winter break :)
Starting weight: 235.4
Previous weight: 184.7
Current weight: 183.4
I’m hoping to enter the new year in the 170s! Let’s try and get to the 60 pounds down (175.4) by the time I go back to school in mid-January. Ready AND GO.
Weigh-In Monday

Previous Weight: 190.7
Current Weight: 189.5
Awwwww yeahhhh busted through that plateau yeahhhhh. And this weekend was Halloween (only went out Saturday though!) which consisted of drinking many vodka tonics, and a few sweets. Those might catch up to me later in the week, but it’s okay, BECAUSE I’M OFFICIALLY IN THE 180s! That means I’m only 4.1 pounds away from being 50 pounds down (goal number 2)! HOLLAAAA! November shall be a very good month :)

So I think it’s safe to say that myfitnesspal is a good way to keep track of calories and works because I think this week I lost just the right amount of weight. So I’m hoping to stick with myfitnesspal and maybe I’ll be 50 pounds down in the next few weeks! Just 5.7 pounds away…. so close.
14th Weigh-In Monday
Starting Weight: 235.4
Previous Weight: 198.3
Current Weight: 192.0
So, last time I weighed myself was two weeks ago, so this loss was over 2 weeks. I think I might continue just weighing myself every 2 weeks, as opposed to every week, because as school is getting more intense with midterms and projects, I’m finding less time to exercise and really commit 100%. I’m not saying I’m falling off the wagon or anything, I just don’t have as much time to get to the gym for 2 hours and burn 500 calories or get 8 hours of sleep a night. So I know my weight is going to be fluctuating a bit more, so as to not get discouraged, I’m thinking every 2 weeks would be a better idea. I’m just glad to see my weight steadily going downward, instead of upward. Who knows, I may still be able to get to 185 by Halloween, but I’m definitely still keeping the goal of being at 50 pounds down (185) by Thanksgiving :)

Wow when I said I was expecting a gain, I didn’t think it would be that much. I’m not only really disappointed in myself, but kind of embarrassed to even post this. I thought a lot about this past week (and even the week before) and tried to figure out what went wrong. Not only did I have a little bit of a cheat weekend, but I also haven’t been counting my points (for those new followers, I count weight watchers points instead of calories) and I feel like my intake has steadily increased. I think I was too confident in my weight loss abilities and thought I didn’t have to keep track. Just goes to show that you should always keep a food journal, because if I had this week I would’ve been able to see why I gained so much weight. Granted, some of this could be muscle because I was doing a lot of weight lifting this week, but I definitely should not have gained that much. Well, it’s back to being on track. This week I vow to keep track of my intake every day and to go back to not eating past 10pm.
12th Weigh-In Monday

Previous Weight: 199.0
Current Weight: 192.7
Was not expecting that at all. Especially since I didn’t make it to the gym this weekend due to sickness and I was afraid that I’ve been eating too much. Wow that means I’m only a little over 7 pounds away from goal number 2! My goals I set last week are seeming more realistic by the minute! This is awesome :) I might reach the 50 pound mark before Halloween! October is going to be a good month.
